The workshop will be held on Saturday, 28 February 2026, at 10:00 AM, at the halls of the Department of Biology, Ashur University.
The scientific program includes: • Lecture 1 (10:00–11:00 AM) Methods of Clinical Sample Collection, Culture Techniques, and Laboratory Diagnosis of Bacteria Presented by: Dr. Janan Nasr Mohammed, Member of the General Assembly of the Society. • Lecture 2 (11:00–12:00 PM) Conventional Methods and Modern Techniques in the Laboratory Diagnosis of Gram-Positive Bacteria Presented by: Dr. Anwar Jaber Faisal, Member of the General Assembly of the Society.
This workshop aims to strengthen practical and diagnostic competencies in clinical microbiology, highlighting proper specimen collection procedures and advanced laboratory identification techniques to enhance diagnostic accuracy and laboratory performance.
The workshop is free of charge, and participation is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as researchers and professionals in the field of microbiology
