Al-Rafidain University Signs a Joint Cooperation Agreement with the Iraqi Society for Microbiology

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mahmoud Jawad Abu Al-Shaeer, President of Al-Rafidain University, the University signed a joint scientific and academic cooperation agreement with the Iraqi Society for Microbiology, as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships and advance research, training, and community service.

This agreement stems from the principle of scientific collaboration and the exchange of expertise between the two parties. It aims to support research and training activities in the field of microbiology, as well as to open new horizons for cooperation in organizing conferences, seminars, workshops, and joint development programs.

The Iraqi Society for Microbiology was represented by an official delegation that included:

  • Prof. Dr. Mohammed Faraj Shadhar – President of the Society

  • Dr. Ahmed Nabeel Abdul Wahab – Secretary of the Society

  • Dr. Khitam Habib Rasool – Member

  • Dr. Mustafa Zain Al-Din Salem – Member

During the meeting, both parties emphasized the importance of this step in strengthening scientific cooperation, contributing to the advancement of academic and research standards, and enhancing the University’s presence in specialized scientific forums.

This agreement aligns with Al-Rafidain University’s strategy of engaging with reputable scientific institutions and building effective partnerships that support its academic mission and serve the scientific community in Iraq.
