- Applicants must be specialists or interested individuals in microbiology or related medical and life sciences.
- Hold a recognized academic degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) or equivalent.
- Commitment to the society’s bylaws, regulations, and objectives.

- Complete the society’s membership application form.
