The Iraqi Society for Microbiology organized a training course entitled Fundamentals of Research Preparation and Statistics at Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq University, as part of its efforts to enhance research and statistical skills among academics and postgraduate students. The course was delivered by Dr. Ahmed Abdul Sattar from the Public Health Directorate, covering key topics including scientific research methodology, study design, basic statistical analysis, and proper writing and presentation of research results in accordance with established scientific standards. This course reflects the Society’s commitment to promoting research culture, strengthening researchers’ capabilities, and improving the quality of scientific output within academic institutions.
